Flight Trouble
Hey all,
I don't know about you, but I had a hell of a time finding a flight. I almost thought I was going to have to come a day late. In the end I found a flight, but it is not fun. I have to fly from NY to London, London to Dubai, and Dubai to Ahmedabad. Same on the way back. Vayama is a good site but don't even bother trying to get on an airindia flight because they are basically all sold out and so evne if it lists it it is not available. I hope everyone else was able to get a better itinerary than me. If you need help and your ripping out your hair, I know the feeling. If anyone still needs a flight. I'm pretty sure my huge itinerary still has room and I would love company. Good luck to everyone else

Flight Info
A number of us have booked our flights through www.vayama.com. Our flight is through Air India (free drinks!) out of JFK international airport, May 14th 9:30PM. The first flight is to Mumbai (flight # AI140), then to Ahmedabad (flight # AI130) where we will then be escorted via SUV to our palatial stay in Gujarat.
Vayama seems to be the cheapest and offers a variety of return flights from different cities if you intend on traveling after the program ends. If you find better prices elsewhere, please do post.

Hello All!
Welcome to Temple India 2010 Summer program blog conference room.
Currently, our dearest leader, Bapa, is generating some ideas/projects for students this summer (will post soon) but he is more interested in what we/you would like to do. So please, post your ideas here. Louis and I will be performing music pieces while in India, from India's national anthem to Star Spangled Banner to spontaneous transcendental freakouts. If anybody wants to dance/sing or incorporate in any way, let us know, we are open to more ideas and would like to expand our show.
Feel free to post any thoughts, queries, or media you might find valuable for our trip this summer. I know that some of you have been inquiring about flights so I will post something for you soon.
